With more than 90 different languages spoken among its 149 distinct people groups, Sudan is one of the most diverse countries in Africa.
Over one hundred of these people groups are unengaged. That is, there are still no believers, no churches, and no efforts to share the Gospel among them.
Furthermore, the government’s hostility toward Christians and their ministry efforts adds to the challenge of reaching the country’s 109 unengaged Muslim people groups with the Good News.
Nevertheless, field workers report seeing increasing receptivity to the Gospel, especially among marginalized Muslim people groups.
Please join us in praying:
- For new workers to bring the Gospel to Sudan’s 109 unengaged Muslim people groups.
- That God would use field workers to help train Sudan’s few believers to reach their Muslim neighbors.
- For doors to open in difficult places, creating more opportunities to share the Gospel.
- That God would call Christian doctors, educators, and skilled laborers to help bring lasting healing to Sudan.
