Prayer for South Sudan

Pray-S-Sudan

South Sudan is one of Africa’s newest countries. However, since independence in 2011, it has already faced coup attempts, ethnic division, and civil violence.

Amidst these growing pains, Muslims in South Sudan are increasingly open to the Gospel.

New efforts are underway to reach South Sudan’s 22 unengaged Muslim people groups—peoples among whom there is still no Gospel witness. More workers are needed to courageously embrace a life of uncertainty in this infant nation to help reach the unengaged.

Please join us in praying:

  • For new workers to bring the Gospel to South Sudan’s 22 unengaged Muslim people groups.
  • For a unified national church empowered by love to reach out to Muslim peoples.
  • That righteous political leaders would recognize and serve the true needs of the nation.
  • That Sudanese refugees in South Sudan would experience Jesus Christ’s love and compassion through the mercy ministries of His people.
