When people ask the burning question of our day—“What should our relationship with Muslims be?”—Jesus’ disciples respond: “We must bring them the only hope for humanity, the Good News of Jesus Christ!”
As we begin this new year, more Frontiers workers are on the field than ever before. These workers and their families go to the nations with great confidence in the final victory of Christ.
But they also go forth in humility, acknowledging their weakness in the face of earthly and spiritual forces that often feel overwhelming. They have counted the cost.
This winter at the Urbana 15 missions conference, we challenged thousands of enthusiastic college students with a counter-cultural message that we hope will stir them deeply: Lose your life, find your frontier.
The call to bring the Good News of Christ to the ends of the earth will be costly, but it is incredibly exciting to be part of the fulfillment of the Lord’s eternal plan. As Daniel foresaw: “He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him.” (Daniel 7:14a)
We look to God’s Word and see that His sovereign purposes will be worked out according to His plan and for His glory, despite what kings, politicians, or terrorists aspire to do. In these days of violence and uncertainty, we can still trust that His works are perfect and His ways are just. We look forward to and long for the day of His everlasting dominion! (Daniel 7:14b)
In 2016, we are prioritizing our resources, attention, and prayers toward new initiatives that will reach Muslims who have the least access to the Gospel. In pursuit of zero unengaged Muslim people groups, we set our sights on six key regions with the greatest numbers of Muslim peoples that have no witness among them.
Would you join us in praying strategically for those who have yet to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ?
Join us over the coming weeks as we discover ways to pray for some of the regions with the highest numbers of unengaged Muslim peoples.
